1. Listen and pretend to listen

The master gives the impression that the other person/client is really interested in my story and tries to understand it somehow.
It can be eye contact, it can be proper body language, it can be an empathetic expression, it can be a repetition of what the other person says

He is busy talking about himself.
After you finish what you want to say (conclusion), ask for your opinion.
Even while the other person is talking, it seems that he is busy thinking about what to talk about.

2. Dunning Krueger Effect

The master is humble because he knows well what he doesn't know. He doesn't pretend to know. At first glance, I think he's an idiot.

Because he doesn't know what he doesn't know, he is full of confidence. List what you know and have experienced, and know how great you are. And believe that what you have experienced is the truth of the world.

3. coaching and intellectual quality

The master mainly asks questions. Ask a question that can be sympathized with the other person's position. The other person must ask a question or ask specific advice first to carefully present his or her opinion. In particular, do not touch the other person's main point first.

Sewage is always ready to be pointed out. It is mistaken that pointing out the other person's difficulties and problems is a great analytical skill, just because the person holding the hammer only sees a place to be nailed.

4. Street Smart vs Book Smart

The real master has definitely experienced the floor experience. So I'm going to tell you a practical solution. Theory is not important, and I know a lot of Yaro (method) that hasn't been proven theoretically yet.

First of all, sewage is strong in theory. In particular, they are wise in theories and cases abroad. The more they are, the more splendid their academic background and career are. However, since they have never rolled on the floor without taking off their rank, the sense of reality will inevitably decrease.

5. Sort risk

In the end, a master knows that customers take all the risks and responsibilities on their own. That's why I don't want to say it conclusively. You are well aware that the results of your advice or advice are ultimately up to the customer. That's why every word becomes cautious.

When the other person disagrees or refutes what he says, he cannot stand it, retorts, points out, and wins the argument in order to lose his temper. As a result, his face is clearly angry.

In this arrangement, my youth fits the sewage conditions listed above. I did.

Looking back, I think I've bullied venture business founders quite a bit with the title of an investor. My blanket kick in the past, when I had a lot of nonsense parties to founders who had made a bet on their lives with my little experience and knowledge.
