The general public as well as experts who know why the cost of installing solar power plants in Korea is still high and that the land area is small or the amount of sunlight is low.

The picture below has been posted several times on Facebook, but it is the result of research by the "National Energy Economics Research Institute", and I have no choice but to introduce it.

The investment cost of building a power plant consists of direct and indirect costs, but as shown in the graph above, the direct costs do not differ significantly from Germany, China, and Korea.

The problem is that if profits are subtracted from indirect expenses, it costs 10 times more than Germany or China.
Take a good look at the items of overhead costs!

1. Licensing costs 2. Facility charges 3. General administration costs 4. Other expenses are being paid a huge amount of money!! Who? The local government that permits...Why? The government neglected to give licenses to local governments, and Germany and China have thoroughly analyzed them by the central government and established and implemented policies to converge to zero.

This cost can be reduced to Germany or China through a policy solution very easily by considering energy conversion as an absolute desperate task for Korea and properly comparing and studying the cases of Germany and China.

Since the REC and RPS systems have been introduced, the government is also willing to do so. In fact, the government left the price of renewable energy unattended to induce the price to remain high (?), and gaslighted it to maintain the perception that renewable energy is expensive without subsidies.

Please let's know the reality!!!
