Actor Clint Howard mostly played minor roles, but due to his unique appearance, he mostly played villainous roles in fantasy movies, Goblin, Dwarf and historical dramas. Although he was compared to a very famous child actor and director Ron Howard, there were many things to do.

After receiving the Achievement Award at the MTV Awards in 1998, he said this.
"My fans are honored. I'm grateful to those who cast me. Thank you, Dad, brother, mother, everyone. Ron, you are a pretty good brother. People remember and recognize you for your minor roles in one way or another. Now you may recognize me as the recipient of this award. Thank you very much. It's a huge honor. I was a little emotional."  

Everyone clapped in emotion with a slightly dull face.

Actually, MTV's Achievement Awards were given annually as a joke. Up until then, those awards had been given to Chewbacca and Godzilla, making sure they were a joke each time. The reason for the 1998 award to Clint Howard was that everyone was going to pretend to be talking about Clint Eastwood first, "Clint is awesome. He's amazing," and make him laugh by showing him on screen.

Clint Howard understood the intention because he was not a fool, and discussed it with his father, who was also an actor. "You should get it. You can't resist it. No, listen. I get it, but I get it seriously. If you go on the podium and don't mess around and take it seriously, you're all bound to follow along. It's going to be more fun than being playful."

MTV completely eliminated the performance award from the following year because if it continues to give out the performance award as a joke, it will be tarnished by the impression Clint Howard felt in 1998.
