I saw a YouTube that explained cosmology in a fun way. And I was wondering if anyone knew.

Our galaxy is about 90,000 light years in diameter. It takes about 90,000 years for light to travel. But it's impossible to get out of the solar system. Under these constraints, it's almost impossible for humans to get out of even the solar system. Maybe we should try to create generations in spacecraft, or hibernate for a long time in spacecraft to see other stellar systems outside of our solar system. You'd never even think about visiting all of our galaxies.

Do you really think so?

To conclude, no. I can't say definitively yet, but it's likely that humans will eventually find a way to travel faster than light.

Because the theory is already out.

The Alcubierre drive is similar to Star Trek's warp navigation. The spacecraft itself does not travel faster than light, but it folds the space in front of the spacecraft to bend the space, allowing the space itself to move faster than light.
When the theory first emerged, many strange materials had to be made, but NASA is putting a lot of money into it, and it's becoming a more plausible theory a little bit.

Of course, no matter how clean the theory becomes, a huge amount of energy-mass will be needed to meaningfully transform the metric of space-time, so it is difficult to realize it right now. However, there is no law that says that nuclear fusion should be realized and a method of producing higher energy density than that should not be engineered. Anyway, theory exists.

There's no story on the wiki, but once the Rcubierre drive becomes available, it will be possible to travel at the scale of Star Trek. He said it won't be difficult to traverse the galaxy.

I don't know if I'll live until then, but humans will go beyond the speed of light anyway. Someday.
