The book I read recently. The decisions made by the state, which seem to have been impulsive and irrational, were also made rationally (not meaning right) following collective deliberations or systematic theories.

Since the Yoon Suk Yeol became a prosecutor, five former presidents have been investigated and four have been jailed. Some of them were directly investigated by the Yoon Suk Yeol. Even the four presidents who did not go to jail could not avoid their family members or closest aides being investigated within that presidency.

Suspicions of protecting Lim Sung-geun in the Chae Hae-byeong case, the case of the high-accusation owner, Deutsche Motors stock price manipulation, Myung Tae-kyun gate, and false information about Busan Savings Bank... The Yoon Suk Yeol has no choice but to know. He cannot avoid investigation no matter how late he or she leaves office, and his or her family members and aides are investigated for the remainder of his or her term in office.

At the end of November, news broke that the People's Power leadership was prospectively considering Special Prosecutor Kim Gun-hee, and just before martial law, reports on the manipulation of public opinion by Myung Tae-kyun went so far as to say, "I received a list of party members and wrote supportive data."  

There are many different cases and the Yoon Suk Yeol are directly and explicitly linked to each one. You cannot risk your life or death on your defense strategy. Since there is no fixed base like Park Geun Hye, pardons cannot be expected. In the end, Yoon Suk Yeol concluded that a more natural (!) choice than the Japanese colonial rule, which was tied to economic sanctions, attacked Pearl Harbor: a catastrophe of constitutional order

This process tells what kind of human Yoon Suk Yeol is. Fearful but not resigned.
