In the new year of 2025, I went to a temple in Kuala Lumpur to make various wishes.

If you were in China, you would have been to Mount Bota in Zhejiang Province, and if you were in Korea, you would have been to Jogyesa Temple in Jongno, but this time, since you are in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, you have been to a place called 'Weather Palace' in downtown.

Since Malaysia's state religion is Islam, there are mosques that are mosques everywhere, and there are many Indians, so there are not a few Hindu temples, but surprisingly, there are not many Buddhist temples. So, I found the most famous Chinese-style temple, the "weather palace" I visited today.

When I went there, it looked like a Buddhist temple, but it was hard to say that it was a Buddhist temple. There is Daeungjeon Hall where the Buddha was enshrined, but there was a Taoist santong (jumgwe), the most famous folk faith of the Chinese, so I could see their own dots, and in the front yard, there were a Confucius statue and a Guan Woosang statue.

Presumably, because the religions of Malaysian Chinese are diverse, the temple that encompasses the "Yubulseon", the folk religion of China, may have been the identity of the Heavenly Palace. Speaking of Christianity, it was very surprising that Jesus and Mary were in one church side by side.

However, it doesn't matter to me. It doesn't matter where I go to make a wish. Hindu temples and mosques don't even know the doctrine, so it was burdensome to enter because they didn't even know how to pray, but at least from the standpoint of martial arts enthusiasts, China's folk beliefs are rather astute, so there is no pressure at all.

First of all, I went in front of the Confucius statue and prayed for the concession of my life. I wished for the employment of the older child, the desired entrance examination result of the younger child, and the president of Lee Jae-myung. I don't know why I have to worry about the country with Lee Jae-myung, but I still prayed hard with all my heart.

When I went to Daeungjeon Hall, I prayed for the health and blessings of my family by bowing while burning incense.

In addition to that, I worked hard to make wishes for people with my personal relationship. I just hope everyone I made a wish for will be happy.
