When a startup CEO starts to become a burden and a risk to the company, the main symptoms are improvised new businesses, recruiting dogma, introducing HR programs, creating management processes, and so on. Now it's a sign that I'm beginning to have the self-consciousness of being a "slightly knowledgeable" founder.

These diseases are mainly transmitted from the surrounding founder's community, or they start to become arrogant after reading a book or two and mistaking it for everything they don't know.

After hearing and being envious of the "bug" boasts of other founders I met in the community of start-ups around me, they misunderstand it as a real working truth, mix it with their limited knowledge, create unrealistic theories that don't work, and force the organization to apply them. Of course, there is no way to work properly, but when the CEO pushes it, the members have no choice but to do unrealistic contradictions. The CEO himself can't practice it, but he himself loses his sense of reality even more because he neglects the object.

New businesses initiated by CEOs also start by spontaneously claiming that they like this and that, and that it is necessary for the company's future vision, but it rarely pays off. Most of them fail, and the CEO who started it is not willing to take responsibility for the loss, does not review it, or reflect on himself. Even the results are not organized properly, and they slip on. The new business is ruined, and because of that, they do not organize the people they hired and sneak them into the existing organization, causing greater and more lasting damage to the company.

From here, the CEO who has lost his humility starts to become the burden of the company and the main cause of the risk.

Be humble.
Especially CEOs at the peak of power are more humble.
Don't be humble. It's hypocrisy to pretend to be humble.
Humility is about creating proper governance and tying my hands and feet together to check myself against the risk of my runaway.

So you know that the modesty of a CEO is expressed in proper governance.
