I have nothing to say about this, but I always wanted my family to go well (because I still have a lot of acquaintances and a lot of friends)

But what I heard was that the thing that everyone in commerce's settlement and finance was worried about finally happened

Unless it's a case like Coupang or Amazon, the commerce platform we know, or relay platform, is a fee base
They connect the seller and the buyer, and when the buyer pays for the product, they keep it and settle it to the seller excluding the fee. (So the account name is customer deposit, too.)

And making this settlement process in Qoo10 has been my job for the last five years (three years to be exact)

Usually, the settlement date of the relay platform starts 7 days after the buyer confirms the receipt of the product. Since a refund is possible within 7 days of purchasing the product in Korea, the settlement is made after these conditions are met
Of course, quick settlement or next-day settlement is also possible.
Rather than paying the full amount in consideration of the seller's return rate, this is a method of settling some of the items first.

In addition, there are places that sometimes operate free return policies that worry about refunds after settlement, and do settlement dates two weeks or more after receiving the product.

To sum it up in one line, (tough talk)
The platform is catching the seller and adjusting the settlement date to suit the taste. (We can't lose our commission!!!)

I don't know when and who started this platform, but I also reached out to the seller's money container that I shouldn't touch outside of the settlement date, took it out, and put it back in.

For example, there is A commerce with a monthly transaction of 10 billion won
On average, they deduct about 20% of their fees, such as sales fees + advertising fees.
In other words, 10 billion to 2 billion are their fees.
However, they conduct a variety of discount events and marketing for more transactions. To be precise, they recruit customers and sellers through marketing, and they sell products at a discount. In fact, 2 billion won is not enough.
And if I go out of that 2 billion won for various operating expenses and labor costs...Money, of course, is not enough. So, it's touching 8 billion that you don't have to touch.
It uses 8 billion to buy, stock, and sell products to earn a bigger profit, or lock in customers by holding more events.
Nevertheless, there was no problem.
Why?
This is because the 8 billion leverage I generated will return to 20 billion in transaction value the next month. Then, you can settle 8 billion of them and use the rest again.  
Of course, not everyone does this
But once you taste it...It looks hard to get out of it.
