Tesla Recalls Again // Recalls 200,000 Units Due to Rear Camera Operations Errors such as Tesla and US Model Y
Tesla is recalling the vehicle due to software instability issues for the 2023 Model Y, S, and X vehicles. The problem is that the rear camera image is not displayed properly, which can limit the driver's vision and increase the risk of a crash, according to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA). A total of 199,575 vehicles are subject to this recall, and 81 defects have already been confirmed by the 21st.
Tesla is providing free software updates to fix the problem. This appears to be to improve the stability of the vehicle's software to ensure normal operation of the rear cameras.
The U.S. media emphasizes that the recall is another case of Tesla's recall following December last year. In addition, it was reported that Tesla recalled about 1.62 million vehicles in China due to safety issues such as driving assistance.
