The Cheongna electric car fire is the worst
It seemed to be a man-made disaster as things happened in succession.
When most people heard about the fire, they assumed that the fire started by the electric car was moving from side to side. All that was done was a short video of the ignition, never a video of the accident.
๐ Contrary to popular speculation, the actual fire spread as the fire, which started from an electric car, was transferred to the pipe insulation on the ceiling, and the flame flowed down like rain. Fire rain drips.
If you look at the fire outline, it was questionable that some of the cars around the fire had not burned down. If it was transferred, it should have spread to the next car, but some of them didn't catch fire and sagged to the side.
๐If you look at the fire occurrence video released in this PD notebook, it seems clear that the fire would not have spread this much if only the sprinkler had been activated
If the sprinkler stopped the flame from coming down from the ceiling, it would have been a horse accident on a few rides
And I was surprised that the insulation on the ceiling was not non-combustible. The hospital curtains were also carefully cracked down with flame-proof curtains, and the insulation of the underground parking lot was not flame-proof;;
Mlon Benz's battery management technology is the most problematic. Ordinary electric car fires ignite very slowly. The module chemically reacts slowly and rarely explodes instantly.
๐ Taken together, it seems difficult to say that the fire was more damaged because it was an electric car. Whether it was an electric car or an internal combustion car, if a fire broke out there, the result would have been the same.
If only the sprinkler was working...
