<What Michael Jordan's mental coach says is the characteristic of the top classㄷ>
1. When working with elite athletes, I (=Team Grover) always check what kind of player I will train, what kind of mental aspect is strong and weak, how much I can push, and how much my will is.
2. One day, during the off-season, about 20 NBA All-Star players and semi-All-Star players played in our gym.
3. All the players who gathered that day deserved to be outstanding. However, the attitude toward the match and the skills and limitations shown on the court were different.
4. Some players played with all their might in each quarter, while others were satisfied with the light confrontation itself.
5. I wasn't going to point out anything, but I noticed the subtle differences they showed. And with this in mind, I categorized the types of talent that appear in a competitive society into three categories based on my own judgment.
6. 1) Good talent, 2) Outstanding talent, and 3) An indomitable matchmaker.
7. And this standard can be applied to any group. Think about the team you're in, the company you're in now.
8. In fact, the definition of success varies from person to person. Some leave the judgment to the surrounding environment (=good talent), while others choose what they want and feel satisfied when they achieve it (=excellent talent). However, although the number is extremely small, there are some people somewhere who are unable to do so while continuing to raise the bar for success (=an indomitable adventurer)
9. In fact, if you look around, most of the people are good talents, and the proportion of outstanding talent is lower than that. There is or isn't an indomitable winner in a group.
10. Good talent sometimes plays great games, and excellent talent sometimes has great seasons. But the invincible adventurer leaves a great career.
11. Good talents worry about how they will confront their rivals, and excellent talents study how to attack based on the information, but an indomitable competitor makes them study themselves. (It means that they work harder than anyone else to get people to analyze themselves.)
12. The characteristics of an indomitable matchmaker (in that sense) are as follows.
- Everyone whips themselves more when they think this is enough.
- Immerse yourself in a state of immersion and block all noise.
- You know exactly what you're like.
- Refuse to be domesticated.
- I'm not afraid of pressure, but rather enjoy it.
- I don't compete with anyone.
- I am addicted to the thrill of the outcome after a harsh process.
- I know who to trust.
- Failure is not regarded as failure.
- I hope you don't get into achievements, and always achieve more.
- It doesn't just stop thinking, it acts directly according to its inner voice, and it runs in like a vicious way.
