<A world that changes fast, I need to change>

These days, I am losing my center in the flow of the world that is passing so fast.

Tesla and Nvidia, which have always been praised at seminars, are transforming into unimaginable heights. Although the stock price is showing different patterns only, technically, both companies are showing tremendous growth. Tesla recently released V12.3, indicating that E2E AI's driving skills are advancing at a very rapid pace. The growth rate of humanoid Optimus, which was initially mocked, is also very fast.

In the case of Nvidia, its efforts to integrate and develop artificial intelligence (from RNA analysis to games, metaverse, autonomous driving, robots, smart factories, and smart cities) through collaboration with various clients are paying off. If Tesla transplants technology that has been created by focusing on automobiles into robots, Nvidia's experience in various fields is truly creating an intersection and spreading it back to various fields. Nvidia has so prominent as a core company in the AI era that no one is involved. The approaches of the two companies are different. I'm really curious who will win in the end.

Not only that. It has been a while since Tesla succeeded in popularizing the improbable electric vehicle, and BYD has released a catch-up electric vehicle and is growing fast enough to show an annual increase of 62%. BYD Seagull's $9,700 is truly unimaginable. BYD's victory in China is accompanied by the collapse of many electric vehicle companies. There is a really fierce competition for survival in China. We, who live outside of China, only see the winner. There is still a gap in self-driving, but China's pursuit of electric vehicles is scary. (China can compete with the United States, where not only the state governs data but also Baidu's Apollo project is national, so individual companies have to solve everything in the field of self-driving. Most of the Legacy companies in other countries except the U.S. and China feel like they have lost all of their power in self-driving.)

It's been a while since MIT's robot chita succeeded in compressing parameters and walking through gravel fields and rough roads through electric motors on quadrupedal walking, Agility robots' bipedal Cathie began to walk, and Digit1 with a body on it surprised the world. Now Tesla's humanoid Optimus doesn't do various things without human control, but not long ago, Figure AI's robot Figure01 was shown performing simple tasks through conversations with humans.

I looked at how it was possible to learn such a fast robot, and the technologies of various tech giants were permeating. Technologies such as SIMA Agent of Google DeepMind and AI Coding technology of Cognition AI, Devin AI, and Advanced Visuomotor Transformer (AVT) were all collaborating for the rapid development of robots. Perhaps the checks on Tesla made them join forces. I was surprised that quite a few tech giants funded the actual Figure AI. Just looking at the companies that participated, there are Microsoft, OpenAI, Nvidia, Jeff Bezos' Bezos Expeditions, Parkway Venture Capital, Intel Capital, Align Ventures, ARK Invest, Samsung Ventures, and LG Innotek. Most of the company's engineers have experience from Tesla, Archer aviation, Boston Dynamics, and Google DeepMind.

Since it is my job, I try to keep up with the future technology as much as possible, but it is a change in speed that is almost impossible. Since the announcement of the Transformer algorithm in 2017, the AI world has truly transformed. Accelerated computing, represented by Nvidia's GPU, has ignited the advancement of AI algorithms. A huge amount of big data that had been built through DX is only now shining. AI is advancing Tokenization in various fields. As multimodal (multisensory) became possible, robots and artificial intelligence came to act by converting vision speech into automatic speech recognition and text (LLM).

Technology surrounding the U.S. and China is speeding up day by day, and Korean companies that have shown excellent performances at DX are showing limitations in the AI era and sighing is getting louder. It's time to come back to Fast from the status of 'Fast' follower, aside from the leadership. It's an area where fast doesn't work. This is because it is an area that can only be built up if there is the technology that has been built so far, and above all, talent and money must be the basis.

Personally, it is the same. The company you work for is also in a difficult time. I can't be free from responsibility because I've worked as an executive for a long time to blame anyone. There were many offers from other companies and many offers from industries, but the result of my choice to stick to this company until the end is present. Therefore, we must overcome this difficult time without any regrets. It's time to balance both the management and life as an expert given to me.

My physical strength is depleted, and my will is not the same as before. My agility and memory are not as good as before. But now I have colleagues who I trust and grateful people who have been with me for a long time...

The rapid changes in technology, the changes in the industry, are steep, but these are also past and challenges to overcome in the end. Let's not get tired and cheer up!!!!
