I often wonder if I'm in the wrong industry.

SpaceX sends a rocket to Mars, where humanity develops, and even if it fails, it learns lessons and develops. Everything leads to human progress.

However, cryptocurrencies are like casinos. If the price goes up, it's like when you buy Lamborghini, and if you go down, your life is destroyed. Are you contributing to humanity?

I understand that building a new currency system takes time, but can't you make something useful along the way?

Everyone is just trying to be Next Vitalik and no one makes anything useful. Im just immersed in value extraction.

I don't know why this system shouldn't collapse. I don't know if there was any value creation, only a huge shift in value that cryptocurrency achieved.

Now, the industry is in a situation where people are going to make something useful that they really want to use. Otherwise, it's right to shut down.

Bitcoin is trying to be a safe asset, but it's failing, and others are just shoveling while they can't even find a gold mine.
